The minimum size for spacecraft components is 2x2x2 studs.
1.1. In addition, ships must only have one gyroscope component.
Competing spacecraft have a functional acceleration limit of 333.33st/s² across all axes.
2.1. Functional acceleration is defined as the acceleration of a craft when a movement key is pressed. This differs from the value shown in the Editor's 'Connected Stats' table.
Competing spacecraft must fit within a bounding box set to 15x8x28 studs.
3.1. Spacecraft must be checked at an orientation where the control seat's orientation matches the bounding box's orientation.
Competing spacecraft must be outfitted with an interior element.
4.1. How the interior is realized is up to the builder and their goals for the spacecraft's aesthetics, however there must be discernible elements that make the interior appear to be a space used to control the ship.
4.2. Spacecraft must remain reasonably operable in FPV mode, even if the pilot does not use it.
Each spacecraft must conspicuously exhibit the official HS500 Class decal.
5.1. The class decal requirement necessitates clear and unobstructed visual identification from a distance (the decal must be legible when looking at the spacecraft as a whole).
Genuine effort must be put into the creation and visuals of any competing spacecraft's hull.
6.1. Having the majority of your components exposed and arranged in a "component brick" or "testbed" configuration is forbidden. Sessions submitted using these types of spacecraft are automatically disqualified upon review.
