Past the walls of Adept's Sector 72e is the vast expanse of the Kryos Desert, with Mt. Nabethea lying in the dead center of it. Surrounding the mountain are massive ice walls that form a small maze. While most of the area is protected under the Erios Scientific Board, a portion of it is owned by the Upper Den Performance Club - a club of wealthy racing enthusiasts. They used the area to create Bethea Speedway, which is now a venue for official ISF events and is home to the most infamous event in MPT racing, the 24 Hours of Bethea.
