Hexagon Group is a performance-craft organization based in Nevada. They are particularly well known for their engineering and pilot program, and are considered to be among the best.
Part One | Overview
FORMATION
In the 80s, the performance-craft scene was at its peak. Enthusiasts were often found racing each other around courses in the Nevada flats, while nearby settlements bustled with spacecraft meets filled with people chattering to each other. One particular crew to have emerged from this scene is Hexagon Group, which was formed by Florent Eskholme - a wealthy businessman - in 2785. Starting off with modifications to civilian spacecraft, they quickly moved onto in-house performance-craft manufacturing, with their first model, Project 1, being revealed to the public in 2787. This would garner widespread acclaim, and not long after, Eskholme would announce their plans to enter the HS300 League.
HSRL
In 2789, Hexagon would reveal their second model, Project 2, which would be used in the following HS300 series. On the Nevada flats, it aced the local speed trap records, while proving to be quite agile. This would be a sign for their performance in the 2790 HS300 season, where they would take the field by storm. Hexagon would prove to be significantly quicker than the rest of the grid, leaving constructors puzzled. Their performance sparked immediate discussion amongst the other constructors, with one eventually snapping and demanding the ISF to investigate the group. This wouldn't amount to much, however, as the ISF would deem Hexagon Group to be perfectly in bounds. Naturally, everyone else started following in their footsteps.
Over time, their innovations have pointed the league towards faster, more agile spacecraft. Their team stands strong - as Hexagon is still considered to be the quickest overall in the league.
